Why would a young girl go into p**n? Do you think it is bad parenting? What is it? What's wrong with society?

This is from the Tyra show. She talks about it like it's a trip to the MALL! What is the reason for this? Do you think she secretly feels ashamed? She even admitted to getting infections and gonorrhea. What would be the motivations for a 31 year old man date an 18 yr old p**n star? She says she shoots gang bang movies and told a 50 yr old costar he could punch her in the stomach! WHAT?

Oh and why do you think Tyra always puts the attention on herself?

  1. Too many questions at once, but it isn't bad parenting, it's no parenting at all. Girls expose themselves to people because 1.they get paid and 2.it's a self esteem issue. They don't think they're good enough, so they do p**n to have someone tell them their "hot", which in reality all of this negative attention is just making their self esteem go down, only their so oblivious to everything, that they don't even care.

More than likely, they didn't have fathers, or brothers to keep them in line. I know if I did ANYTHING like that, my brother would kick my a$$. And the stupid SOB who talked me into it.

It's a sick thing. I've never understood p**n, let alone child p**n. Who wants to sit and watch other people have s*x? Talk about creepy...

  2. I know two people in the s*x trade and they both do it for money.  They were kicked out of their homes at a young age, didn't get an education and can make quick and easy cash doing the stuff they are doing.  But doing what they do makes them depressed and turn to drugs.  It's so sad.

I also agree with the other posters, parenting has a lot to do with it.

But why to men go into p**n and why don't we have the same negative conotations attached to them.  I think one reason why women in the s*x trade have such low self esteems is because society looks down on them.  Sometimes people have little other options and all others do is look down on them.

What a sad world we live in.

  3. it's NO parenting like the first girl said, and it's a good way to make money-that's how they see it. a 31 y.o. man would go out with an 18 y.o. p**n star because their hot.

  4. I was physically abused by my father and molested by my uncle. I slept with countless men all before eighteen who could have been old enough to be my father.

Sad thing is one was a teacher and a therapist. How can you claim to want to help people and hold a degree in that and s***w a young girl's brains out? Till this day I cannot look at a man in a position of authority like that and not wonder what goes on behind closed doors.

I had lawyers, doctors, married men, teachers, etc.

This is what causes young girls to go into p**n. They weren't loved and they don't know what love is. They see all of these men paying attention to them and they think this is the key to happiness.

She SAYS she wasn't. Doesn't mean she's telling the truth.

  5. I know, it is disgusting.  It is not bad parenting, it is NO parenting.  A large percentage of p**n "stars" grew up without a father figure and or in otherwise not so nice homes.  They have no self respect and no self-worth.  These "movies' that they do make them feel like they are not just some loser.  Besides this, it teaches young men that it is okay to treat women like animals, which, in turn, makes young women feel that they are worth nothing.  Its a terrible cycle that society has fallen into.  If more people thought like you, than maybe this could be stopped.

  6. Pornography is an industry that seeps into peoples homes in insidious ways. The girl interviewed started watching internet p**n at 16 so she had images burned into her brain chemistry and somehow talked herself into thinking it was normal.

Just because a girl like that "says" that she was not abused does not mean a thing. I would bet that indeed she was abused.

When you see a woman like that, you can be sure that she is in DEEP PAIN.

As far as Tyra goes, she is a performer, she is the host of the show, and she made a choice to use her air time to expose an issue that might help a kid ask for help. I don't have a problem with the way she handled it, she is who she is and just like the rest of us, she's doing the best she can.

I just read a great book that I recommend to young people and their parents. It tells the truth about how the p**n industry works. They use the images to work on the brain chemistry of young people. I think if more young people knew the truth about how they are being used, they would not be sucked into the lies.

Thanks for bringing this to the attention of teens and I hope it makes a difference in waking people up.

Here's a link to the book I recommend. I wish everyone would read it.

  7. What da F**K?

  8. One of the many reasons the p**n industry has problems is because of peoples' negative reaction to s*x. If people stopped going into panic everytime they saw a p***s, then maybe p**n stars would be able to seek help and live their lives without being scorned and judged.

  9. The girl could be that way because she was abused at home or raped? It could happen. And yes, Tyra calls WAY to much attention for herself.

  10. from what i hear, 90% of movies made in america is p**n.
