Do you think its embarrassing to get a facebook before you are in high school?

Im 13, and my sister is 18 with a facebook and she says its embarassing for me to get one, im going into eighth grade.

what are your thoughts/ when you see someone not in high school but with a facebook, when your on facebook, what do you think? is it wierd?

im 13 and im going to grade 8 but its not weird there are a lot of people my age on facebook and people younger just ignore ur sister and sign up there are kids in 3rd grade that have it it doesnt really matter but u have to say u were born in 1993

i would wait until at best your freshman year. it's used through school emails and i don't think it recognizes middle schools

I dont think it would be wierd to be on facebook being 13... the reason being if u are on facebook connecting with you age kids.... there is nothing wrong... You might have myspace already and today there is no difference between facebook and myspace... both are high social networking sites.... So I dont think there is anything wrong with it as far as it does not become your addiction haha...

naw its not that bad i mean, i got mine at the end of 8th but if your friends have one and you know people on it go ahead!

and my cousin going into 6th grade has one and my other going into 4th grade has one, so dont worry about it

It would be pointless for anyone your age to even have a Facebook for it was originally for college students to network with each other. So yeah. Please do not turn Facebook into another MySpace with a bunch of underaged users.

I don't think its weird at all...some people are just not worth listening to... if you want one get one (as long as your not under the age limit i guess) and stop worrying about what other people think

Not at all. I know 6th and 7th graders with facebook, and 100% of the 8th grade in our town has them.

I do not think it's embarssing. I just don't undertand why older people think it matter's if younger people have facebooks. I am going to be a sophmore is high school, and to be honest, I don't think there is a problem with you creating a facebook. I DO see a problem with you giving all of your sister's older-friends requests to be their friend, and then talking to them. Yes, I could definatly see how that could be annoying and quite embarassing on your part. So, go for it, but just stick to only talking to your friends, and don't bother the older people and there shouldn't be a problem.
