OK about twenty years ago i was having a conversation with an middle aged turk who was quiet versed in english and self educated at least he was very well versed in history and facts which was intresting..in one of our conversations we talked about temujin..and his life"s conquest..at the end when he died my turkish freind told me..that..and this he say is truthfull folklore..that temejin was buried secretly..and that the people who buried him also pershied as to not reaveal his grave..but my turkish friedn said to me that temujin legend goes some thing like this..he is buried with or there is rock formation of a turtule..if any body finds it they will find secrets and tresure but mostly he said when his grave is found the turkish empire will rise once more? now i know pride can feed on hope of lost glory..and i know that temejin was mongolian and the turkish race was born out of the mongol hordes..i want to know ..is there any credit to this folklore myth?

  1. You're clueless about what you're talking about. Turks aren't Mongolians and that man was probably a mixture of  chauvinism  and  imbecility.

  2. I've read many fantastic stories about the grave of Cengiz Han and believe me, it's all bullshit. Rise of the Turkish Empire? Haha I admit that would be nice to see but there is a tiny, little problem. Cengiz Han in his life time, killed more Turks than any other enemy force did. I doubt he would use his new laser emitting eyes and anti-law of gravity qualities to resurrect the Turkish Empire. Instead, I believe he'd be on his little Mongolian horse pursuing new barbarities.

p.s. The Mongols and Turks are not the 'same' race, they do have/ or rather did have some time ago, similarities since they both emerged from the same place and since they are 'relatives'. The Turks, later on, assimilated most of the successors of Cengiz Han in the West. For example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chagatai_Kh...

  3. Why are you going to search for the grave for the treasure :)  I'll say yes if you take me along as your guide.  Indiana Jones.
