TENNIS Strings QuEsTiOn! Which Strings Should I Use.?

Question

I use the Babolat Aeropro Drive Cortex racquet and currently have Luxilon Big Banger ALU power 16L strings at 58 tension.

My wrist kinda hurts now. after a week of use.

I don't mind the pain but i should i use the Luxilon Big Banger ALU Power Rough 16L String instead because i hear it gives more spin?

I'm also considering the Babolat pro hurricane strings too. Are they good?

I use Big Bangers. It could either be the strings, bad technique, or your racket. It's most likely bad technique and your racket. Your wrist really shouldn't be hurting, because it's barely used in tennis. And, your racket is one of the stiffest ones out there with a tension close to 70. I suggest getting a more flexy racket and brushing up on your skills.

And, Hurricanes are very powerful, durable, and spinny, but they are they are about as hard and stiff as the Big Bangers.

If you wrists actually hurt, I'd suggest going to a different string, like a syn gut or multi. Alu rough and power don't really have much of a difference in spin, and all polys basically give similar feel/spin/power/durability. If you really can't stand the feel of a softer string, try hybriding your luxilon with something softer.

Babolat Hurricane tour on M, and Enduro Pro on the C.

To be easier on the arm use Babolat Conquest on the C.

Babolat pro hurricane is good if you like durability. Pro hurricane is polyester which will be much more stiff, and tends to cause tennis elbow. If you break your strings alot you can use pro hurricane, but try and hybrid them with a syn gut string. The sytheic gut is a softer string which will give you much more feel for the ball, becasue pro hurrcane has a plastic feeling too them. I would not suggest string them by themsleves because you will get elbow problems. But the strings overall are good if you combine them with another string like Gosen Og sheep micro stings. I use that combo on my mircrogel radical, and it is amazing. Great feel, and lots of pop on your serve.
