  1. I was half-way through writing this once and my computer froze lol. So here i go again!

Two Players i would steal- Muttiah Muralitharan and Jaques Kallis.

Murali is currently the best bowler in the world, he has been the most lethal and feared bowler of the last 5 years!. He single-handedly wins match after match for Sri Lanka. England currently have an average spinner, Monty although a veru nice guy and ok spinner, is NOT a match winner! If England want to challenge Australia for the NO.1 spot then they a world class spinner

Kallis is a superb batsmen who would be an asset to any batting line-up in the world, He can (and has) scored runs all around the world.

Youngster- Ajantha Mendis- The young Sri Lanka spinner who can bowl so many variations. He will be a handful in the future, and like i said before England NEED a world class spinner!

  2. Kumar Sangakarra - Consistantly making huge scores in all conditions againist all countries, Kallis also much the same, however cant dominate a bowling attack like Kumar, Kumar also makes bigger scores (Kallis has never scored a test 200), Pietersen also was close to being chosen, Kumar beat him on sheer weight of runs at the moment.

Muttiah Muralidaran - Australia is lacking a top line spinner behind MacGill (now dont get me wrong, Murali would play in front of MacGill any day), and with already having Brett Lee in the side i feel its better to pick a top line spinner, which cost Steyn this spot, not much i need to say to gratify my decision

Ishant Sharma - Steyn also went close to being picked in this catergory, but has been around for a little while now so Sharma gets the nod, HUGE potential in this kid! current form has been great (not taking any notice of T20 slap-n-giggle form), came over here and really gave us a hard time the longer the tour went on

  3. My country is south africa and if i could steal two players from another country it would be definitely a spin bowler shane warne even though he is retired and a batsmen like sachin tendulkar and for a young and up and coming player i would like to have yusuf pathan he is an exposive batsmen but all in all i think im happy with the resources we have in south africa i just hope they start performing to their potential we have lots of goods players coming up so all in all the the future of sa looks bright except for quotas which could make us lose more good players

  4. As an Englishman I'm not proud of this but I'm gonna pick an Aussie - Ponting, one of the best batsmen over the past 10 years - one of those who makes it look so effortless. Especially with how quickly he gets on the pull is amazing (No double-entendre intended!). A great captain too.

If I was going to pick another batsman then I'd probably gone for Chanderpaul or Kallis, but I'm gonna pick a bowler...

I'll say Shane Bond. Great talent but has had his international career hampered by injury and effectively ended by involvement in ICL. Had he being playing for New Zealand this summer, then we could have an even better series going on at the moment.

As young talent, I'm going to take a gamble, considering how little I've seen of him, on another New Zealander. Tim Southee showed on debut what great potential he has as a front line bowler, and as the England bowlers found out, when he hits the ball, it stays hit. If treated in the right way, he could become one of New Zealand's greats, but there is the danger that he'll have too much expectation put on him too early and he'll fade away into obscurity.

  5. Well i would like to have these players playing for Australia.....

1...Dale Styne(Sth Africa)...Just full of class in all areas.esp test arena...

2...Dan Vettori(NZ)....Pure talent, great bowler and can score well too, quick hitter of the ball and can score big too...

    NEW TALENT:...

Ishant Sharma(Ind)...I have always said he was a great find for the Indian team, very clever bowler with the world at his feet,i want to see him and how good he will be in 5 years time......

But mention to Jessie Ryder(NZ) going to be a good player too...

  6. I am an Indian If I want to steal two players from another

country in fact India is at present short of good all rounders

only. My first preference will be all rounders Jack Kallis. A. Fintoff and young and up coming player Shane Watson.

At present India have Plenty of good batsman ,fast and

spin bowlers but after Kapil Dev . No good all rounder

is in India at present .

  7. I live in Australia but support england (was born in england) so i'll pick players as an englishman

The two players that i would steal would be:

    1. Kumar Sangakarra of Sri Lanka. I just love him and he's always been a consistant batter and wicketkeeper

    2. Matthew Hayden of Australia, i know that many people currently dislike him but he's a superb batter. He's strong, powerful and is always imposing (ie. he tends to walk down the wicket lift his 1 ton slab of wood and bang you for six) He really is a great player to watch. Also hayden is a great slips fielder, you'd put moey on him not to drop the catches

My youngster that i would choose would without a doubt be ishant sharma.

This kid is showing a lot of potential. In the recent australia tour he really troubled some of the world best batsmen and in the ipl he is also doing very well. He has the pace to match his skill and he is consitant. Furthermore he just seems to have that spark about him, everytime he bowls he's looking for a wikcet and is always making sure the batsmen knows he's gonna have his work cut out (this attitude is somewhat similiar to brett lee)

alrite mate, there you have it

  8. My team is India

And I will pick Stuart Clark, Michael Hussey and Dale Steyn as the youngster. All are at the top of their jobs.

  9. If I have to pick 2 players from outside India - I would pick

Hayden and Warne( even if he is retired)

A young player would be Rohit Sharma.

  10. My team is England.

I would steal from another country:

    Kumar Sangakarra from Sri Lanka: Top quality batsman, and excellent wicketkeeper. Would bolster our batting, and solve our wicketkeeping problem;

Daniel Vettori from New Zealand. Best finger spinner in world cricket. 'Bye,'Bye Monty Panesar. Vettori also has the advantage of being able to bat!

    Young up and coming player:

Dale Steyn from South Africa. We desperately need a spearhead, and Steyn would be the man to provide a cutting edge.

  11. i m frm India... hmm... Test Players???

surely, Brett Lee n Kevin Pietersen.... both play in a spectacular fashion!

a young guy??? lemme think... it wud b Stuart Broad... a fine talent!

  12. Vettori & Smith, plus Mendis
