If you go from Calais to Paris by TGV, is it the SAME train as comes from Ashford to Paris and is called Eurostar in England?

  1. The train from Calais to Paris can either be a Eurostar (which has come from the UK via the tunnel) or a domestic French TGV. Both similar types of high speed.

Not all Eurostars stop in Calais but those that do can and do take passengers onwards to Lille and Paris. Coming back I beleive it is a different story. Ie Eurostars that stop at Calais cannot drop off domestic passengers from Paris.
