I remember a show called the Banana SPLITS, but not the Banana BUNCH. They rode around in this six-wheeled dune buggy type thing. The other two, I have no recollection.

I can remember the Banana Splits theme song to this day -- and thanks for making it stick in my brain. My weekend is so ruined. :P

I don't remember the Banana Bunch, but like the other answerer I do remember the "Banana Splits"- their theme song was the "Tra-La-La" song. The 4 characters were Fleegle the beagle,  Bingo the gorilla, Drooper the lion and Snorky and elephant.

The "Splits" were the hosts of a show that presented cartoons, among them "The Arabian Knights".  Please see link below.
