I have been doing some iron-on for my husbands business with t-shirts but every time I get it right now the iron on looks like it is coming off how can I keep it on

Follow the instructions precisely for iron temperature and pressing time. You kind of have to get it right the first time because if you under-heat and then it cools, you'll never get it to heat up properly after that.
