  1. It all about government priorities! This cretinous government would sooner spend our taxpayers money on donations to dictators in southern Africa like that psychopath Robert Mugabe!Rather than spend the money on our ageing population!

The problem really is!Those Labour politicians live in another world! Why?They are mostly Public school boy lawyer people!Who have made their money on the backs of the British taxpayer! And have no sympathy for the average worker who has to look at a pound twice!

When they retire! They go to the very best Private Residential Retirement Homes!Frauds! That is what they are!

  2. Blair and his cronies would sooner give the money which these people have ploughed into the country through tax to asylum seekers and lazy workshy baby popping scroungers than reward those who worked all their lives and paid their taxes.

  3. Why should the Common People have to pay for the care of the middle class elerly?  If a person owns a house, they should sell that in order to pay for their care in a home.  It's fare.

If you don't want to do this, simply sell you home to a trusted relative so that if you do get beyond it, they cannot then take your house away.  It's already owned by a trusted relative to whom you pay a peppercorn rent.

    Problem solved.

I mean, what is the matter with people?  For God's sake wake up.

    The rules are dead simple.

If you have an aged relative who owns a house and you own a house, why not allow her to live in your house and pay you rent, while you in turn go and live in her house and pay her rent?  Guess what, you might both then be able to claim housing benefit.  But only if you are skint.

  4. I have no problem with this policy what so ever. I have seen elderly people denied the right to be cared for in their own homes, in nursing or residential care, simply because their greedy off spring want what they believe is rightly theirs. Why should anyone inherit anything at all. perhaps they should make their own way in life. I will inherit nothing, I have no rpoblem with this. I can't think of anything better for my parents to spend their money on, other than the care they should quite rightly have.

  5. Yes it's so wrong. They also halved the pensions that widows were entitled to from their late Husband's earnings. Great guy Gordon Brown, I think not.

  6. Yep.

You come into the world with nothing, and this bunch of b@stards are intent on making sure that's exactly what most of us leave behind when we depart it.

Me & the wife - we're off out of here as soon as her mother croaks and we've still got a bit to show for 40 years graft.

  7. A. There are too many old people in the UK so there isn't really any other option but to make old people pay.

    B. People should save money for when they get old, people relying on the government will only be let down.

  8. My great aunty was dying of cancer, if someone with cancer has less than 6 months to live they don't have to pay for care, which they very rarely tell you.....and if you know, try getting a Dr to diagnose you with less than 6 months.

  9. It is wrong that this happens.
