  2. Depends on the State...North Carolina's age of consent is 14.  Alabama's is 16.  Georgia's is 18(I think) so no it wouldn't be

  7. No, not at all.  The law reads that 17 is legal, as long as a parent or guardian consents.   Also, in those days, it was no big deal.  Richard is a good man, and his wife is a sweet lady, if you want to tear on someone, find somebody else.
