perches on my roof every day singing his bollox off fron 4 am till 9.30 pm,though sometimes he gets shirty and starts clacking and grouching.What a wonderful song they have ,but sometimes i feel like telling him kindly to f**k off and give us a blow,f f sake

Your lucky you only have one. People are under the impression that the countryside is a quiet place. First thing in the morning its like being at a rock concert of doom. All sorts of tweety monsters shouting their heads off. Happy little souls.

yes and no are u sure its the blackbirds cos ive got 3 crows in mating season. they been chasin the wood pigeons into our first floor bedroom windows and chasin the seagulls.

I have a blackbird nesting in a bush in my garden which has young ones and it comes as close as a two feet to me when i am in the garden, wanting food , so i get worms from the compost bin which it takes to feed the young birds. It is a pleasure to listen to in the evenings and i would not have it any other way.
