  1. Check the point and start running from that point say at 10 KMPH in circular motion. When you cross the stating point  your positon is zero but not velocity is non zero.  


  2. What the problem with that?

    Just look a car driving through a checkpoint. Then measuring from the checkpoint the position is zero but the velocity is certainly not.


  3. I suppose you are refering to the XY diagram where X axis represents time and the Y axis represents the velocity.The position depicts that you want to fond out the distance covovered from the piont 0,0.If it is true then you will have to consider two cases,

    1.Withh constant velocity

    2.Constant acceleleration.Since you have not mentioned about the initial velocity you are left with two options to plot the graph using the formulae:-

    1.S=vt

    2.S=ut +1/2ftsquare.

  4. Position is essentially a worthless name. It is merely a reference point in which you begin keeping track of the object's movement. In your case, the object has a certain velocity, but you don't care about its velocity until a certain point, and this point will be referred to as "zero".
