THE SHIFT KEY IS BACKWARDS ON MY COMPUTER

Question

when i hold down the shift key it"s lower AND THEN I LET GO IT'S UPPER. I JUST BOUGHT THE COMPUTER IT WORKED THIS MORNING. I ALREADY TRIED RESTARTING.

You probably pressed the CAPS lock by accident. Check your CAPS lock light, usually above you calculator pad keys.

If you're new to computers, which I think you are, the CAPS lock key is above your left SHIFT key.

If you aren't I apologise.

press shif until u hear hear a sound or a window or try holdin the key for 10> seconds

I'm guessing you were a Macintosh user and just switched to Windows.

As the other person said, your caps lock key is active.
