  1. chris chase doesn't know sh*t and neither do most of the anit- china people. that article was low, really low.

you just gotta ignore the people that are hating, they're just wasting your time, repeating the same argument over and over again.

  2. AWESOME article that uneven bars stuff was complete bs!

  3. chase should be banned from blogging nonsense

  4. That guys a douche bag. If her age turns out to be true, rather than all of these half-assed speculations, then China will get boned. Remember that 7 year old girl with the buck teeth who was deemed unfit for the opening ceremony? Someone dropped that bomb, so the age bomb will definitely get around to the rest of the world. Until then, lets give them the benefit of the doubt ( even though they've proven otherwise with that opening ceremony and the stuff happening in tibet ), if not for respect of the host country, then so the world don't think we're all complete jack asses.

  5. Chase is the man.  She looks more like 8, not 12.

  6. Chase should be slapped 50 times on the face and whipped 25 times on the back and spanked 25 times with a cricket bat on the butt for writing that hogwash story.

  7. He does have a point there, in landing in knees and still getting a medal....sad for EVERYONE that was there and saw it live...

  8. I think they're either a whole bunch of morons that don't understand the scoring system of the sports or they got their head stuck under the mud.  Chris Chase was right by saying he "doesn't understand gymnastics".  The American girl's difficulty level was at 6.3 comparing to 6.5 for the Chinese girl and she landed out of bound.  And come on now, it's not like all Judges are Chinese, they're from all over the world; not to mention the judge that gave the edge to China was from AUSTRALIA "American brother"!  Don't y'all remember how Paul Hamm won his gold medal 4 years ago?  come on now.... I think China has been a very good host so far, I can see they try hard with lots of effort put into the olympic.  Realitity really sucks and you need to take a loss like a man and stop whining like a .... blank!  Let someone else get a chance to shine once in a while doesn't hurt.  And no, USA don't have to win win win win win win all the time.

  9. Yes this article is ridiculous and it is a blatant example of whiners who give Americans a bad name. He is suggesting that there is some vast conspiracy to give the Chinese the advantage in every subjectively-scored sport, which is why they're leading in medals in these sports. Why don't we be gracious and appreciative of the winners, like Nastia and Johnson were, and not complain. About the underage thing, let's apply one of the central American philosophies - innocent until proven guilty. Later the truth will come out.

  10. If you watched last night the gymnastics with Nastia Lukin that lost to that chinese girl by a BS tie braker then you shouldn't consider this article false. I've seen time and time again where the chinese got better scores than they should have.

    GOOD JOB ON THE ARTICLE!!

  11. Dang, quit being a crybaby, it was just an article and an observation or opinion.

  12. That's the biggest load of rubbish I have read yet! It also reeks of racism. There's been nothing but China bashing on these threads from Americans. You have shown your real colours!

I'm not even Chinese but I'm going to say this. Go China! Kick their @sses all the way back to Idaho. Rub it in and make sure you win not only the gold medal count but also the total medal count. We'll see how NBC puts a spin on that one!

  13. Women's Gymnastics

    US: 9 medals

    China: 6 medals

If they can't see that the judges has been fair to the US....they need their eyes re-examined

Blame the system, not the judges!

The 'obscure tie-break' rule works as follows:

There are six judges that judge each attempt. The highest and lowest scores are tossed and the remaining 4 scores are averaged together to produce the final score that you see. (btw, judges from the competitor's native country are not allowed to judge. i.e. no American judged Nastia and no Chinese judge judged the Chinese girl). In this case the average was tied. The automatic tiebreaker works this way: of the remaining four scores, the lowest is dropped and the highest remaining 3 are averaged. The Chinese girl had a higher average. Thus she got gold and Nastia got silver. If you are saying the 6 judges converged to rig it so that such a tiebreaker would occur, then that would be ridiculous, for them to coordinate down to the thousandth of a point.

In any case in the uneven bars final, China's Yeng Yelin deserved Gold because her routine had the same degree of difficulty as the other medal winners in that final, and because she executed the performance so well she deserved less deduction than both of them. Either way, USA's Nastia Liukin's result of Silver medal would remain unchanged, just the two Chinese medal winner should have swooped places.

  14. This article is kind(VERY) of biased.

  15. Awful article, very whining, very disrespectful, very "sore loser attitude". It's also not very American, I don't know them for being whiners.

  16. Well I agree with it. Alicia Sacramone should've gotten at least a bronze, and Nastia Liuken ABSOLUTELY 100%-LY deserved that gold medal.

  17. well, i do think that the judging in gymnastics hasn't been very good. nastia definitely deserves that gold medal and the chinese gymnasts do not look 16. but even with that in mind, i think that the US should stop complaining about china and how it's a terrible country and blah blah blah! every country wants to make themselves look good. i'm pretty pissed about the trash talk coming from some US citizens, it's an embarrassment to the country. all of these articles are just an excuse for defeat.

  18. China earned total 17 gold, 1 silver, and 15bronze medals in the all the judge needed sports

US earned total 3 gold, 7silver,2 bronze medals

    just in diving,gymnastics,equesterian...

if u take all those medals out of both countries,,

China is still wining with 5 more gold medals but gets 56 total

while US gets 70 total,,,therefore,,, the article was good enough to show how fuking biased the chinese are

  19. I definitely am. I mean, there isn't any proof the Chinese gymnasts are underage, Chinese tend to look young. It was kinda (a lot) mean, and it was VERY biased.

  20. Why would it p**s you off, if you don't like it, don't read it. Maybe he wanted to p**s some people off and raise eyebrows.

quit being so petty and whiny.

  21. I am not a gymnast but I do know that landing on your knees isn't a good thing and should not win over someone who landed on their feet.  Also if you REALLY look at those girls and think they are even close to 16 you are being nieve. Just because the games are in their country you can not discount how long those girls have been working for this day and no one deserves to be cheated.  Skewing scores and medal count for political reasons will in the long run destroy Olympic ratings.
