THERE'S A SNAkE HANGING ON OUR CEILING! HELP!?

THANK GOODNESS my DOG SAW IT! IT WAS HANgiNG ON OUR CEILING! IT IS COLOR DARK BROWN WITH YELLOW STRIPES ! IS IT POISONoUS/DANGEROUSS?! IT IS STILL SMALL LIKE A NORMAL SIZED ROPE, MAYBE 2 AND A HALF FEET LONG AND AS THICK AS A NORMAL SIZED TOE THUMB!!! Help!!!!! Is it dangerous? My mother sprayed an insect killer to the snake so it will be dizzy.THE SNAKE IS DIZZY, THEN THE SNAKE WENT UP INSIDE OUR CEILING!!! I KNOW IT IS STILL UP THERE!! What shall we do!?!? PLEASE HELP!!! This not our pet!!!

that was plain mean and stupid all you had to do was put a stick under his belly and take it out side easy as that if you never sprayed it.  it was one of the weakest snakes in the world! a garder snake. none poisonous, full grown wont bite you garder snakes I have held one in my hand and fed it a millipede and it was wild and would not bite me.

First off, your mother should be ashamed of herself for spraying an innocent animal. Its cruelty, at best. Second, your description is EXTREMELY VAGUE!!!!! Where you live is a good indicator of what is in the house. Where do you live? Are the stripes bands, or do they go down the length of the body? What shape are the pupils? What shape is the head? Maybe take a picture if it and post it.

Just call animal control, and DO NOT SPRAY IT AGAIN!!!!!!

I would have to agree that spraying the snake was a cruel thing to do. Where do you live that you would have a snake coming out of your ceiling? lol but I would either call a neighbor over or call animal control to help remove it. where there is one...I am sure there are others!! animal control should be able to answer any questions about the snake being poisonous...I think it might be though...anything with bright colors has the potential of being poisonous. dont freak out with animal control its a garter snake totaly harmless and dont ever spray a snake with bugspray againg it is probly dying a slow painful death but here is what you do grab it and take it outside or if your scared to do it your self call your BIG MANLY neighbor to come and get it for you but just like i said it is only a garter snake

You would probably have to call animal control. But If it was me, I'd keep the snake as a pet. :P

Wow aren't you a cruel cruel person. tsk tsk...hope you know you are injuring an innocent animal. It's really nothing. If I was you I would keep it. But since you WANT to KILL it then just letting you know it's just a normal garter snake. It's not dangerous or anything. To tell you the truth...i don't think it could really harm anything...ok I was wrong maybe some red rosies(those are tiny fish) but they eat them because that is food for them.

Just quit hurting the poor snake. Let it be. And no it don't bite your dog or you or your family. It is just a HARMLESS snake who happens to be at the wrong house. I use to catch them in my yard all the time...until I got bored of them and decided to go with bigger snakes.

Just let it be and ignore it. It will get out. If anything just pick it up and put it outside. Please don't kill it. The snake is 200% harmless to everyone! They are actually made as pets to some people(even me)

Please don't hurt the snake! It's just like an animal like a dog or a cat!

if i were u i'd get animal control then i'd see if its poisonous/dangerous and maybe u cld keep it fr a pet. Hope this helped (-=
