  1. I guess it really depends on where you are located. You said you were British and if you live in Britain then you'll have to fly him. A friend of mine was diagnosed with cancer and wanted to go home to Great Britain to make his last days comfortable but he had to take a boat because an airplane would be too high up for him and he might get sick.

I'm sorry but that's all I know about this stuff. I hope it helps a little bit! You are in my prayers! God bless you!

  2. Just get in the car and drive to Canada..........Have your passports ready.........or get a flight to Canada....

There are many many ill people of all ages and nationalities that doesn't mean their country is responsible for their transportation home.......for free medical care.

Some Canadians buy an extra policy for when traveling out of Canada that will give them an air ambulance back to Canada if they are so ill they can not travel on their own.  I use to work in a USA tourist resort where the Canadian Geese would land for the winter.......they were wonderful people and they told me about this.

  3. Perhaps it is best to do some homework of your confusing field before accepting others's suggestion. Here is a great start point.http://home-insurance.featured-resources...

  4. Drive across the border.  If he is a Canadian citizen, which means he must have a passport, there should be nothing to stop you.

  5. im sorry i can't help, but i feel so bad, just wanted to let you know, good luck

  6. WHy can't you just buy him a plane ticket?  If he is that bad off, he will not survive surgery.  I have recently seen two people die of this illness.  It sounds like he is late stage. Do you have anymore details?

  7. It is unclear what kind of help you are looking for. As mentioned by several already, if you just need to get back into Canada and he is a citizen, drive across the border. If money is the problem, why are you looking among total strangers here or the Embassy.  I see no good reason to suppose the taxpayer should pay for his return. If he is so broke he can't pay his own way back, why did he go to the States in the first place? You should be looking to family and friends first in any event. If he was diagnosed on Saturday and it is only Monday, you do not seem to have spent much time talking to either of those two groups.

At the risk of being labeled cruel and heartless, I must say this comes across to me as very suspect  and indeed it has the look and feel of a put on.

  8. try to get inshurence down there idk

  9. i'm a little confused. if i'm reading that he is a canadian citizen who is currently in the US and he has a passport, what is it that is keeping him from driving across the border or flying home?  i get that the healthcare is better there and all that. if not, and he is a US citizen that you are trying to get him to canada for healthcare, i'm not really sure. would marrying you, a british citizen, in canada make him a canadian citizen and therefore eligible for all the benefits of being a canadian citizen immediately? if he is stuck in the US as a US citizen, maybe you can contact the cancer treatment centers of america. my cousin was diagnosed with some kind of lung cancer in stage 4 and he is working with them.

  10. contact the salvation army or the red cross or both . also some churches may help you some i feel for you my wife is slowly dying with super nuclear palsy . if it wasnt that i have to take care of he, i would be tempted to drive you to canada myself may god be with you.

  11. if he is a Canadian citizen living in the US he can just cross the border back to Canada, you being British can stay in Canada for 6 months without a visa.

he doesn't need a visa to return to Canada if he is Canadian

your question is hard to understand

  12. You dont say where you are but start calling churches and see if any can help you. The Salvation Army might help too.
