THRUSH question? ?

i am unsure if i actually have vaginal thrush. i have a light discharge, which is sometimes "gluggy" (only sometimes, and its not heavy), irritation around the area (its jst red, it doesnt itch), and the other day i found a little bit of blood on the toilet paper (which actually came more from my clitoris area). im very confused because apparently women normally get a healthy discharge, but how can you tell the difference between what is normal and what is not? also the blood threw me off. does this happen in thrush at all, or could i have an infection of another kind, or maybe two unrelated problems. i plan to go to the doctor if it doesnt go away soon, but im jst wondering if anyone could shed some light. please and thankyou.

  1. If you were itchy and had blood, I'd think that the itching caused you to break the skin so you bled. However, since you're not itchy, I don't know. Call the doctor. You should KNOW you have thrush, because it itches like a sumbitch! I don't know what "gluggy" means, exactly. Thrush has cottage-cheesy discharge, while normal discharge looks like mucus or sometimes like egg white.
