We have broken one already and cut ourselves.

We NEED to use glass for the water because our baby is chemical sensitive and she is reacting to the poison that leaches in the water from the plastic. (we called these water companies and they always have an excuse...it does leach into the water!)

Can you think of a less dangerous way to put these heavy glass bottles onto the water dispenser?

Thanx

  1. I suggest buying distilled water at the grocery store.

For what it's worth, no "poisons" (or much ELSE, for that matter), should be leaching into the water from any approved container.

  2. Smaller bottles? Oberwise milk jugs. Something easier to carry.

  3. Why not get a water filter that fits onto your faucet, and filters the tap water? ..... or buy smaller bottles of water

  4. In not mentioning where the source of water is you make it difficult Copper piping is the normal means of transporting water.

There are some steel 5 gallon carriers as there are zink water carriers

Some people use them for carrying petrol(gas) some for water

Try a camping and caravanning shop.

Second hand Army surplus stores are a good place to get them

  5. Homebrewers regularly lug these glass carboys around.  And, I will admit, they are ungainly and difficult to move.  Perhaps one of these two contraptions will work?

I regularly use a "carboy handle" to move my beer.  But, I am guessing that the "carboy hauler" may be easier to use for you if you're fitting them into a water dispenser.

    Hopefully that helps!
