should i put a little blankey for her even though shes dead??

Me again. If you want your hamster to have the things that you remember her by I dont suggest burying them with her. Bury one or two things not much. By your room door or a space you like put a little memorial if you were really attached to her. Any toys or special things she liked would be good. But only if you don't want to get new hamsters and recycle the items. Do what you want. losing something like that Is very sad. Though it was small it will be remembered. SORRY!! :'(

aw ): im sorry! i had a hamster for 4 years and when it died i put it in a box with a little cloth and buried it in my backyard with a note.

I'm so sorry to hear about your hamster. It is always hard losing a pet no matter how big or small because they are like a part of your family. And that is so far from a dumb question. I think that you should do whatever you feel is right when burying your hamster. Whether you would like to bury her with a favorite toy or a blanket or even with something else, you should do whatever you want. I would recommend probably not leaving her in the house too long or it will cause there to be an odor.

Again, i am very sorry and I hope that you find the bast way to cope with this!

umm no just cry and cry and have to throw away in the garbage or it will smell bad cause there nothing u can do cause it's dead nd i feel so sorry bout wat happen to ur hamster

At this point, I think it's time to consider hamster funeral arrangements. Perhaps you could put her in a nice little box and have a burial for her. However, I am sorry that she died, and hope you'll pull through this okay. I'm sure she would have liked the sentiment of the blankey, though.

And it's not a dumb question. I've had five hamsters and six degus die, and for all of them I stuffed their box/casket with food, some bedding, hay, and toilet paper, then placed them in it.  For a few of the degus, they were babies when they passed (they weren't healthy when they were born, and didn't make it)  so I had made a little pillow out of toilet paper and wrapped some around them like a blanket. It's no different than when you bury a human.

I loved them all very much, and it gave me closure to 'give' them stuff that would make them...feel comfortable, you know?

It's always sad to lose a pet.

My dog died on Sunday and we put his blanket, scarves and some notes from family members in his coffin before we buried him.  

Do whatever you feel like doing, don't let others inhibit you from expressing whatever feelings and sentiments you have.

That's not dumb. When my hamster died I burried him in his hamster ball. Lol just bc it was his favorite toy.
