TI-84 Plus Silver Edition Calculator is Frozen!?

okay so it was wrkin fine the other day. but all of a sudden when i turn it on its says RAM Cleared and then i cant clear that screen. The flashy thing doesnt falsh and i cant use the buttons. I put in new batteries but it does the same thing. I NEED HELP!

i have a test on monday!

  1. The website education.ti.com has answer boards like this for various subjects, including calculators.  Go there and find the right one and be patient, the people on the boards are very helpful. You might have to explain everything because they are not there with you and it may take a bit of a conversation, but they are very knowledgeable.

    You, or some one using the calculator might have cleared the RAM by mistake.  Don't panic, the board can help and if that does not then go to the store.

Ram Cleared means that the calc is full the memory is all used up in the back there should be a reset button/pin hole Put a pin in it when you turn it on shut it up and turn it back on it it might even reset on its own... turn it back on and it should be working perfectly fine... depending on the model you might have to either Just TAP the reset button with a pencil or w.e object you use or if that doesn't work hold the reset button down for around 10 - 15 seconds it should just reset on its own once the function has been done...  

  3. I work at staples take it their they could replace it for you.
