TI84 Calculator HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my ti 84 calculator wont recognize the computer. i downloaded ti connec.t but the comp can find my cacl. it only says com1 com3 and then it says turn calculator on and then make sure its connected.

I had that problem at first too. Did you install the software before ever connecting your calculator?

That was my problem, and I ended up having to follow a lengthy troubleshooting thing through the website to uninstall TI-connect and try again.

Edit: I'm sorry, I couldn't find it. You might browse whatever came up on the internet after you installed the program.

If you DIDN'T connect your calculator before installing, then I'm not sure what's up.
