I recently bought Hewlette Packard HP50g graphing calculator. How does it compares to TI 83, or TI 84.
HP50g typically differentiate
d/dx √x = (0.5∙√x)/(1∙x)
which is 1/(2∙√x) as we know, but it is how HP50g differentiate. and integrals become bazarr!!!!! I specificly bought the calculator to help me find answers, instead it complicate integrals even more as it actually is!
I did not know about TI prior to my purchase of HP. HP is the best Graphing Calculator in my country, I couldn't find SHARP Graph Calc here, yet.
I'm getting curious about TI. two concerns:
1. does TI differentiate properly
2. does TI integrate properly
by "properly" I mean, not something like the example above, but PROPERLY, as we as humans would find the answers
I'm willing to buy TI, but I have to buy blindly, because I can't physically play with to see what it can do.
HP50g is programmable, but I have to learn differentils and integrals first, myself, before I can program it. I can do programming, though
