TIVO DVR & Cable - trouble recording one channel and watching another live show at same time?

This is the weirdest thing. I can record a channel below the 500s (movie channels) and watch another live show that is on a station below the 500s, but if I am recording a station IN the 500s I can't watch another live show on a station in the 500s, but I can watch a live show on a station below the 500s.

What is going on and how do I fix this?

I agree that is weirdest thing. I tried to research and determine what could cause it and I came up empty handed.

The only suggestion I can make is if you have cable cards in your TiVo you might try resetting them.

If nothing else works you might try calling your provider.
