I recently purchased two tickets to the Jerry Seinfeld show during the internet presale....before they went on sale to the public. I ended up 32 rows back from the stage in the center. Now, I checked tickemaster's website and if I had waited , I could have been only 8 rows back....I'd be on the right looking at the stage from an angle but I wouldn't be way back. Question: Is it better to be in the center way back or on the side close up?

  1. I worked at a Ticketmaster phone center once and they have an automatic system to set up the "best available" seats.   They probably considered row 32 a "better" seat than row 8 because it was in the center.  Look at the prices of the two seating areas.  If they charged more for the seats in the center section, that's why they sold you those.  Sometimes it's best to just check out individual sections when trying to buy tickets and see what's available.

  2. The closer, the better, unless you're in an area with a lot of distraction or when you're at a concert and you sit facing the artist's back the whole time cause they don't think to face the whole crowd instead of picking one section to sing to. In my opinion, prime seats are 4 to 5 rows back in the center or off center so long as you're not on the far end of the row
