TMI, but, question about vomitting?

I'm 23 weeks pregnant, and I throw up just about every day.

And I've run out of Zofran, and my doctor does not advise getting another prescription.

Well, I was just throwing up, and i threw up so hard and so much that I threw up out my nose.

I'm in so much pain.

my nose burns, and I'm all congested with vomit now, but blowing my nose isn't getting any of it out.

How can I get all of that trapped vomit out of my nose?

It hurts so bad I'm crying, and everything smells like vomit.

help!

  1. I did that many days with one of my kids.  Sorry.  It just takes a while of nose blowing and stinking.  Maybe saline nasal spray or some salt water in your nose?  I never did that, but it might help.

  2. The best remedy for morning sickness is to immediately eat a high protein snack and drink a glass of water the moment you feel nausea coming on. More morning sickness remedies on the page below. I am sorry you have felt so bad for so long. Start on this program today and make sure you have a protein snack and a glass of water before bed every night. This should help to quickly turn things about. Best wishes, G

  3. Unfortunatley when this happens, theres nothing you can do but keep blowing your nose. I had horrible morning sickness and occasionally still get sick from time to time even at 21 weeks, but when that happens you just have to keep blowing your nose for about an hour and sniffle and I know it sounds gross but its going to run down the back of your throat if you don't get it all out of your nose and that may make you want to vomit again.. About a month ago I made spaghetti for supper and an hour later I got very sick and had little tiny noodles coming out onto the kleenex, lol. It wasn't the greatest site but that was one less noodle in my nose!! Just keep trying you should feel relieved within an hour.. Good luck!! I hope you start to feel better.

  4. Go in the bathroom, close the door and turn the shower on as hot as it gets. Wait about 5 min's then try to blow your nose. The steam will help losen the c**p up there.

Another way, it's gross, i know but it might work..... try to cough up a loogey. You might have to do it a couple of times, but it will work eventually.

It's not gross, I had the same thing happen to me a ton, it's life!

  5. I've had that happen. It's one of the worse feelings. I would usually just try blowing my nose and waiting it out. You could try using a saline spray to rinse it out. Or maybe the steam from a shower would help loosen it up. Good luck and I hope you feel better.
