so i cant believe i'm asking this- but i don't want to ask anyone in person haha. i would ask my doctor but i see her monday, and don't want to call her unless its urgent.

anyway- usually i go p**p every other day, or once every three days- sometimes even less.

but today i have gone three times already- strange. my poo has also been softer (not diarrhea, but just soft stools)

i'm 29 weeks pregnant. i know diarrhea can be a sign that labor is near, but i'm only going more often and having soft stools.. just wondering if that could be a sign i might be going to preterm labor, or am i just over paranoid lol??

  1. It could be what you're eating...your body's way of flushing out unwanted toxins...or if you are drinking more water or eating more fruit.   As the baby grows too, it puts pressure on everything else...so maybe that's playing a part.

  2. Changes in your f***s is a common thing. Don't get too worked up over it, a lot of women go through the same thing! It could be because you've been consuming more fiber!

I hope this puts you more at ease!

  3. Oh, if any pregnant woman has "regular" bowel cycles then she'd be the first I have EVER heard of, lol!  During pregnancy, the entire digestive system goes through many changes and can range from not pooping for 5 days to pooing 5 times a day for five days...  It's quite irritating, I know!  If you're going to see your doc on Monday, I'm sure she'll do an exam to make sure things are as they should be so unless you have any other signs that may indicate labor before Monday, I wouldn't be too worried.

  4. I was worried too, before I became pregnant I had trouble "going" and then around 30ish weeks seemed to be going after each meal. Unfortunately, its gone back to the way I was now!

Try not to worry, our bodies are going through many changes.
