TNA Business Plan Change, Targeting Mature Audience?

Question

The feeling amongst TNA management is that they are now going to be targeting more of a mature audience, in order to make wrestling more 'cool' and drop it‘s poor image. Apparently the idea first became a topic of discussion when Scott Steiner, of all people, mentioned in passing that kids are more mature nowadays, and the high school crowd watches whatever the college crowd wants to watch, and the college crowd watches whatever adults want to watch. Of course these ideas are what sparked the Monday Night Wars/Attitude Era, but nobody in the company is jumping that far ahead of themselves quite yet.

What do you think about that?

Wow, it might start getting better then WWE, but it kinda already is, the last few episodes of RAW are BLEH!

It is about time that wrestling begins to target the more mature audiences and stop playing to the kindergarden crowd !!

Now; If only the WWE could take a lesson here ..... But; I won't hold my breath .

I don't think anyone will be retiring Sting this year as he is in the process of negotating a new contract with TNA at this time ....

However; I do believe that when he does go to retire ; it will be someone like jeff jarrett or Samoa Joe who will do it .... UNLESS ; he surprises all of us and just retires .. period .

Yeah. I could tell this the first time I watched TNA about 2 years ago they were already gunning for something close to that. they have swears in all their shows, and they are not afraid to have a lot of violence.
