  1. tna sucks they try and copy the wwe i hate them. they take all the wwes old washed up superstars (sucking up).

  2. Let's face it. TNA is still a young, upstart promotion by wrestling standards. I mean it's only been around 6 years. They are chock-full of talented wrestlers and interesting things, but the problem is that the powers that be do not know how to market TNA properly which is why they don't have the fanbase that the WWE has.

It doesn't help that they have guys like Vince Russo who are killing the company from within. Russo is notorious in the wrestling world for his "Crash TV" style, which prioritizes storylines over actual matches. He did it with the WWF, he did it with WCW, and now he's doing it with TNA so he's apparently under the impression that he's doing the company a bucket load of good.

Ironically, the reason people wanted to see TNA in the first place was because they had something the WWE didn't have and that was serious physical competition. Matches in TNA back then I believe lasted a MINIMUM of TEN MINUTES. With Russo at the helm, however, matches usually don't even go that long.

Nor does it help that it's been ingrained into the minds of the majority of the wrestling community that TNA is just a "rip-off" of the WWE and all there is to see there are a bunch of has-beens, which is not usually the case. The WWE has recycled their gimmicks and storylines over and over again, and they have to since they have been around for very long. Also, it's quite unfair for people to lambaste TNA for hiring old WWE talent, since that happens all the time in wrestling: people move from promotion to promotion. And in case no one knows yet, current WWE stars like Mr. Kennedy, Mickie James, Paul London, Brian Kendrick, CM Punk and Jeff Hardy have worked at one point for TNA.

Anyway, two main things TNA has to do for it to reach the same level as WWE: get rid of Vince Russo and hire a new creative team, and market themselves properly. If they do not intend to become as mainstream as the WWE and choose to keep their independent slant, they can instead broadcast in other countries worldwide and continue their Global iMPACT! shows. Worldwide followings will help them become grow bigger and stronger as a company.

  3. Here's the big deal.  TNA is still a fledgling federation, with about 1/10 the following WWE has.  They have a lot of talent, and a lot of potential, but they have no idea how to truly implement it, especially against a federation with the experience that WWE has.

You have to remember that WWE gets to a wider audience as well.  Every market has USA in the US, every market also has UPN and WB (now CW).  Only about 50% of the US has Spike TV, and even less had FSN when Impact was on it.  Top that with the fact that TNA doesn't push the side of the federation that had brought it out of obscurity in the first place (The X Division), and you'll see why WWE brings in the fans, while TNA has to give away tickets.

The last problem TNA has is that they lose money a lot.  With their shows being taped at a Soundstage in Universal Studios, they're not allowed to make fans pay to see the shows.  That's why the shows are always sold out.  It's first come, first serve.  But if TNA was allowed to make people pay, you'd see the Impact Zone be a lot more empty.

TNA has a long way to go before they start getting somewhere with the fans.  They need better writers, and better script writers...  and they also need Road Agents that can work with the lower card, and they need to stop letting Vince Russo come up with stupid gimmick matches for every PPV...  especially ones that don't really make sense.

I also have a feeling TNA should look into hiring Paul Heyman or Gabe Sapolsky, as both are amazing bookers.  WWE really bunked it up when they dropped Heyman from ECW's booking committee, as it immediately killed all the remaining semblance of "Extreme" from the fed, and now we're left with "WWECW Heat."

Booking is what makes or breaks a fed, in the end.  You have to be able to give the fans what they want, not just book the matches that the "Old Fogey Dinosaurs" want...  the problem is a lot of the "higher up" members of the roster get offended if they aren't pushed in favor of wrestlers who "aren't their caliber."  Which is why people like Christopher Daniels and Motor City Machine Guns had a whole mess of popularity, only to find themselves transform into jobbers.  I find it amazing that LAX is still at the level they are, and I think it's only because they're in an area with a lot of hispanic influence, and they can't really get away with not pushing them anymore.

In the end, the WWE gets the fans because their booking, writing, and wide-range notoriety gets them over.  TNA needs a lot more work in each department before they get filled seats.

  4. TNA isnt WWE... WWE makes better storylines... TNA just copies them

  5. TNA is not as widely promoted as the WWE.. that's the reason why..

  6. You have to stop and realize that TNA has not been around as long as WWE(F) has and besides if TNA "felt" like a WWE production something would be very wrong. Personally I have been and continue to lose interest in pro wrestling. Reason for that is simply this after having watched the shows for a couple of years you can start to see where certain things are going to go and that's a bad thing. Also neither organization do extended story lines anymore and I blame that on a society that is constantly changing and loses its focus and concentration (like I say those of us that were born after 1975 almost have learned A.D.D.) and that is a shame.

  7. WWE has more money and talent that's why their events are sold out where something like TNA might pack a national guard armory with 12,000 - 15,000 people but still got good enough talent to provide a well rounded crowd.

  8. They are not creative, they are not unique @ all. if they were smart they would build off the flaws of the wwe. they got good wrestlers. but terrible unrealistic storylines. wee more realistic, for example jbl character is very similar to himself, more believable and realistic. tna ENTIRE MARKETING team should be fired. basically wwe has expierence and good writers on there side
