TNA Impact report, Sting is still the TNA World Heavyweight Champion: Wrestling News
The Flash Borden, Sting won the Championship match again in Thursday night TNA Impact, on May 20, 2011. The match took place between Sting, Ken Anderson and Rob Van Dam.
Sting has already defeated Rob Van Dam at TNA pay-per-view Sacrifice on May 15. RVD claimed that he deserved a rematch. Anderson interrupted and said that RVD had lost his opportunity and now he was the only person who needs the title shot. The TNA
World Champion, Sting appeared in the ring. He stated that he did not care whoever would be the challenger; he would be the World Champion always. Hulk Hogan came out and said that he had changed the match. Hogan announced that championship match would be
played between three rivals that were Sting, Anderson and Rob Van Dam.
When the match started, RVD and Anderson double-teamed and started beating Sting. Sting recovered and attacked both with punches and kicks. RVD fastened Sting and left with hard forearms on the mat. Then RVD started beating Anderson and hit a 'Side
Suplex'. Anderson nailed RVD and slammed him on the mat. Then he hit 'clothesline' on Sting and pinned for two counts.
The fight continued with punches, kicks and other submissions. Anderson nailed RVD and hit 'clotheslines' consecutively, but got only two counts. Sting focused on Anderson and hit him with a series of 'clotheslines'. Sting hit Anderson with his finishing
move 'Stinger Splash’ and then turned to RVD. Sting tried to hit 'Stinger Splash' on RVD also, but RVD pulled referee in the way. The referee got the submission and fell down on the floor. RVD hit the 'clothesline' on Sting and then grabbed a steel pipe taking
the advantage of no referee.
Sting survived and kicked RVD. Sting grabbed the pipe and hit on RVD. The Sting then focused on Anderson and hit him a 'Stringer Splash'. The referee recovered in those moments. Sting pinned Anderson for three counts. He was again the TNA World Heavyweight
Champion. A very exciting match was taken place. The TNA Universe was amused and rated the match high.
