At Darling Harbour the outdoor daytime and nightime entertainment is usually free and you can often catch a performance or two just walking along the waterfront.

  3. Well Kat R. I live in Chicago waaay away from Sydney, ..But most big cities are alike, and as in Chicago so it must be in Sydney, that most activities are for FREE,...only for some we are charged. Like going to the beach there, same as here-it`s free, going to parks for picnics it`s free...most museums here are free on one day a week-on other days they charge admission....Going hiking into nature is free,...rent bikes for few $$, and go biking to Melbourne,...there is 100 other activities you can do free of charge....

  4. hmm well i reckon the best place to go is into the city. Walk around Circular Quay and enjoy the view the ocean breaze and the entertainers are awesome to watch. Also just walking around Darling Harbour or the Rocks is alot of fun. The markets at the Rocks are really good too. and at Darling Harbour there are often some really good performers and entertainment or events. You can check out what will be on when they are here by going to their website and there are also other little additional things going all the time.

Also go to some of the amazing beaches they are free and you can have some great fun, just remember to stay between the flags. And if ur going in winter, just sitting on the grass having a picnic is lots of fun.

Also if you dont mind the drive you can head up to the Blue Mountains, not too far from Sydney and a pleasant drive. There is some absolutly stunning scenery up there and its just great going to some of the lookouts and if you want to walk around a cute little town Leura is really good.

Hope you guys have fun in Sydney
