TO THE POLITICIANS Focus: BP dumping sludge in our Great Lakes?

Why this is allowed to take place? Why is this even a possibility? Why can we not send our waste to other planets that we already know life does not exist? Dumping should not be even a remote possibility. Especially with our fragile planet earth as it is. What are you people doing in office besides giving yourselves a pay increase? Fight the real fight. Get off your beaurocratic behinds and get involved people. I know at least one man in politics that already is trying. Rahm Emanuel. No I do not work for him or for the state of Illinois. Just do something to stop this insanity before there is no safe water for us and our children our grandchildren our animals and life in general. Write to your congressman and get involved.

First question:  It's allowed to take place because BP has millions of dollars to influence politicians and pay whatever measly fines might be inflicted on them.

Second question: It costs thousands and thousands of dollars PER POUND to send something into orbit, much less sending it to another planet.
