I have never took TOEFL exam. Is it possible that I have a TOEFL SCORE WITHOUT TAKING THE EXAM. I am a University student.When I was in high school, I had a kind of exam to know my skills in English reading and writing. Will that be considered a TOEFL exam.I am confused.On my transcript it says TOEFL1 scores...

  1. TOEFL is Test for English as Foreign Language. TOEFL is necessary in all Universities in US, UK and other English speaking countries. TOEFL is mainly for students from non English speaking nations.

    If you fall under these criteria it is necessary for you to take the TOEFL exam, it has Reading, writing, listening and Speaking sections.

    Moreover it is conducted by an organization called ETS, not by any university/college.

    So it became necessary for you to take TOEFL by ETS if it requires.
