TOMOS Streetmate or YAMAHA C3 - which is the better buy & why?

I am down to considering purchasing one of these 2. Any input or owner experiences will be helpful! Thanks.

I don't have any personal experience with either but from I've heard, Yamaha is a better brand.

Tomos is Euro built and will have problems eventually. There are very few dealerships in the U.S., as well as the parts they keep in stock. There are at least a dozen Yamaha dealerships and service centers in every major city. Support, service and parts is never an issue or a hold up. So if you want something dependable for commuting all the time go with the Yammy. If its just a play ride  for the occational weekend, than disregard. But just a note- j*p **** runs forever...
