What’s there to do in Toronto during the last week of April? I’ll be there and I’ll have a week free before I have to work. Like…from the 20th – 30th of April. Any special events? Any good restaurants/eating places to recommend? Or anything interesting to see/do in TO during that time? I don’t have a car, so hopefully some place I can get to by bus or subway…

im from Toronto myself actually, but I have not been back for a good many years….so im not looking for recommendations to do visit Niagara falls or the CN tower. Haha. Since I’ve already been to those places. not really looking to go clubbing/partying that week either.

THANK YOU! =D

  1. Take a beautiful Springtime stroll through the islands and have a

gourmet lunch at The Rectory Cafe (http://rectorycafe.com/).

Also, you might enjoy the Distillery District (http://www.thedistillerydistrict.com/)

  2. Nobody has a car in Toronto, parking is crazy. The subways will be fine. Go see Queen West for sure. Amazing shopping and it goes through China Town and onto the Thearte District.

  3. Definitely check out the Distillery District, especially the chocolaterie there.  If you have not been there in a while Kensington Market, the St. Lawrence Market and China Town are always interesting.  Stroll through Bloor West Village and eat at an interesting restaurant.  Have fun.
