  1. im not sure. try it out  and see how it does my bravada does

  2. Can you pull a trailer? Yes.

Are you going to be up the creek with no paddle and a danger to others on the road if anything goes the slightest bit wrong? Yes.

  3. That depends on your towing capacity, trailer weight, and weight of the horse.

  4. What is the towing capacity of your vehicle? What is the weight of your horse trailer? What is the weight of all your and all your equipment? What is the wheel base in inches of your vehicle? (The minimum for a two horse trailer is 114 inches - a four horse would be more.)

I sincerely doubt a Tahoe can safely pull a four horse trailer, but if you can answer the above questions I can look into it further.

  5. a Chevy 1500 is like a half ton.  I wouldn't dream of pulling anything bigger than a very light 2 horse with something of that size/weight. Just because the manufacturer gives it a tow rating doesn't mean that its the safest thing to do when hauling live cargo. You also have to consider that the length of the four horse trailer in comparison with the length of your vehicle.  A 4 horse is pretty long, I wouldn't feel stable with something of that length behind a Tahoe. If it were a gooseneck instead of a bumper pull, I might feel a little better.  I've hauled a lot of miles and across the country a few times, trust me, when things get wild out there on the road it's always better to have more truck than trailer!

  6. I have a  05' silverado 1/2 ton.  I can pull 7500, and I wouldn't pull anything over that limit.  You have to think of pin weight for a bumper pull.  I have 2 horse all aluminum and that weighs 3200.  A 3 horse steel weighs around 5000, plus it has alot more pin weight, and I wouldn't pull that with my 1/2 ton truck.  It's not just the strength of the motor its also the chasis of the truck, and the transmission.  Call a gm dealership, they can tell you.

  7. i dont know what sort of car that is (im in australia we dont have them here) but i pull a tripple load gooseneck with my Ford XR6 sedan that is an automatic. It does it no sweat.
