which is the Playoffs 12.
After a contest that ended in three straight sets, the home team of TRENTINO was able to find itself on the winning end of the game. The Italians not only defeated the Serbians in three back-to-back sets, they were able to seal a decisive win in each one
of them. By the time that the Italians were celebrating their sweep into the Playoffs 12, the scoreboard showed the following final set scores in the favour of TRENTINO: 25-16, 25-20 and 25-20.
The coach of the home team, Radostin Stoytchev, made the following comments after his team had earned him a win: “It was a strange match where we never really found our rhythm probably because our opponent did not play well. I could try some different options
like using Sokolov as wing spiker and our second setter Zygadlo, and they both delivered a good impression. I am very satisfied with Tzourits who perfectly executed what I asked him to do.”
On the other hand, the coach of the Partizan side, Milan Djuricic, expressed himself in the following manner: “This was a good game for us; we played against the best team in the world and this is our first participation in this competition. We have a very
young team and only via such matches the players can develop their skills for the years to come.”
The player who was able to own the title of the Most Valuable Player belonged to the Italian team. Middle blocker Mitar Tzourits was named the MVP of the match as he was able to pull up his team by generating 91% efficiency in his attack as well as a total
