It was the scene where he was killed after walking in on his fiance being raped. The shot was caused by a dislodged dummy round being propelled by a blank into his abdomen. If the footage is in the movie it would be severely edited. I think it was cut.

However, there was still the bullet in the barrel, which was propelled out by the blank cartridge's explosion. Consequently, Lee was shot and killed as cameras rolled in Wilmington, North Carolina. The footage of his death was soon destroyed without ever being developed.

True. what happened is that the guns they use to shoot at Brandon were supposes to be filled with blanks( that's in any movie)so appearently one of the guns had a real bullit inside the gun and so when they shot at brandon he really got shot and had to take him to the hospital. I forgot where he got shot that killed him.

How a real bull it got inside the gun is still a huge mystery up to this day. I beleive they kept the original scene up until a certain part and then they edited it .
