TRUE OR FALSE: There was a series about a priest that was so controversial it was pulled before it aired?

There are numerous many pilots for shows that just do not work and never air -- but has there ever been a show that was so laden with controversey that it was protested before it was even shown -- by the CHURCH ??

I found 2 possibilities.  The first, Revelations, was a 6-hour mini-series, shown in one hour segments, and recalled after the first showing.  Since you said that the one you seek was never shown, I kept looking, and found one called "Revelation", and believe that it must be what you refer to, as there is NO additional info to be found on it.  I am very interested to learn the answer to your question!

    I don't remember ever reading about a TV pilot or show that a church (by THE church, I assume you mean Catholics) protested in toto.

    Addition: I stand corrected. "The Book of Daniel" was one as other posters have pointed out. I forgot all about it (2005/2006 was so long ago!)

  7. there was a show on NBC and ppl made a huge deal about it.  I mean c/mon,   ITS A d**n SHOW!  We live in America, you don't like the dang program CHANGE THE CHANNEL
