TTC #1 HOW TO CONVINCE HUSBAND TO HAVE s***n TESTING ?

We are TTC #1 & Dr. wants my husband to have s***n testing. I have PCOS & have had several Ultra Sounds, Vaginial Exams and take an ungodly about of Medication not to mention my arm feels like a pin cushion at times all in hopes of becoming parents( so in my minds eye all of the above is well worth it) and my husband is bucking having this test because he is embarassed and I think is afraid if his count is low he thinks it will in someway damage his man hood. Any sugestions dealing with a stuborn man on this subject or am I just being selfish wanting him to do this? It was ordered by the Dr. and in the long run I just want a baby at all cost. And if I can go threw all that I have and still have to give birth and still want a baby this bad should he be able to do this one thing

Sorry you have to go thru this. It's not fair that you have to endure all the treatments while your husband is refusing a simple test. I would say that you will stop everything you are doing until he gets his stuff done. You are in this together.

I don't think you are selfish or wrong to want the test run. I also don't think your husband is wrong to be embarrased.  In our society men aren't taught to embrace this kind of thing.  Maybe if you offered to take the sample in for him it would eliminate the issue?  Reassure him that no matter what they find you're in the process together.  Good luck!!!
