ok i am an adult and army wife so i don't need rude answers. My newborn is 3 weeks old *and we have a 3 year old* my husband wants to get me pregnant before he leaves for Iraq in 4 weeks. I am ify on it but thought about it and agreed. So is it logically for me to believe I will get pregnant within 4 weeks when my baby is 3 weeks old?

  1. You can only try...from what I understand you are most fertile after giving birth....but you might want to check with your Dr...that is an awful lot of strain on your body.

  2. you shouldn't even be having s*x.  your body is not ready for another baby.  you're suppose to wait six weeks to even have s*x so you can heal, let alone a baby.

    good luck.

  3. the problem there is if your still bleeding then NO. if your done with all the afterbirth stuff and etc then there is a possibility but if you remember what the doctor said to you after having your baby he said NOT TO HAVE s*x for a month to two month .. WHY is cause your body will not have time to recuperate from your other baby. in the long run after you hit the age of 35 and up you will regret it. your  period will be heavy like if you need a dnc. so my suggest to you is, talk with your doctor he can check to see if you are ready or not.

  4. you are very fertile after giving birth, but i would give your doctor a call to see if its ok to try so soon after just giving birth

  5. call and ask your doctor. i suppose it could happen

  6. Talk with your doctor, but you should be able to try.  Your uterus will need about 6 weeks after birth to recover.  This will vary, so it is best to talk with your doctor.  After you get the thumbs up, go ahead and try.  You should be extremely fertile at this time, so I think a week will give you as good of a chance as any.  Good luck!

  7. Have you even been cleared by your doctor to have s*x?

You really need to give your body more of a break between pregnancies. Getting pregnant this soon after giving birth would be a terrible strain on your body. You might not even be ovulating yet.

I would talk to your doctor before you proceed. You don't want to jeopardize your health.
