I had my last period on July 6th and it ended on the 9th or 10th. It usually starts around the 4th every month and has not yet started. My question is not whether I could be pregnant or not (i had s*x so i know there is a chance because thats what s*x does). My question is...........

ok let me try to get this right... lets say i was pregnant (had s*x 2 weeks ago yesterday)...... but my LMP was a month ago tomorrow... I hear they say how far along you are based on your LMP..

how owuold that work for me? When could my symptoms start? Would it be too soon to test?

I dont understand why they go by your LMP... it seems like by doing that everything is thrown off??

if you dont understand this question I'm sorry, but i had a hard time trying to word it.

  1. They go my your LMP because most people can not pinpoint when the concieved and it goes from day one of the cycle.  Which is the first day of your last period.  Confusing, I know.

  2. You could definitely be pregnant especially if you were suppose to start already. Doctors go by your LMP unless you know what day exactly that you conceived on. For example, I took an ovulation test yesterday and it was positive so we had s*x. If I get pregnant then I could tell my doctor that it was most likely that I conceived on Aug 5th. Your symptoms should begin soon if they haven't already. Take a test soon and begin taking prenatal vitamins. Good luck:)

  3. I think that you should base it on ovulating instead of your LMP because it will make you think you are further along than you are. They usually go by your LMP because most woman ovulate on day 14 of their cycle. If you are 14 DPO then you might get an accurate result. I would buy a box of 3 HPT's that way you can test again if you period doesn't show. Good luck!

  4. Day 1 of your pregnancy would be the day your started your last period - July 6.  So today, if you were pregnant, you would be 4 weeks.  You could definitely take a test today (may want ot wait til first thing tomorrow morning) and it say whether or not you are pregnant.  As for symptoms, every woman is different.  I had none until 6 weeks.  Good luck.
