I think i ovulated on Monday the 18th or Sunday the 17th... It's now Weds the 20th... and i started with typical yeast infection signs.

The signs started 2 -3 days after I o'ed... would this affect conception chances??

Is it safe to use monistat or typical OTC drugs to treat this if I am pregnant? I'm only about 2 - 3 dpo .. It shouldn't affect fertilization obviously if it did happen.

  1. i think it has no effect on ovulation caz i asked my dr befor about fungus infection and she said its medicine and bacterial infection medicine are safe even if u r pregnant,,, but u can check the medicin in internet to see if it ia safe in pregnancy or not,,,,,or ask dr to be sure

  2. Having a yeast infection should not at all affect conception. You can use OTC drugs to treat it for now, as you're only 2-3 days DPO, but once you find out if you're pregnant, discuss it with your Dr. first. Good luck to you, and lots of baby dust!

  3. Antibiotics, being too hot down there, having high sugar levels can also cause yeast infections.  I get them because I'm diabetic and if my levels are too high for too long, I get them.  I don't actually know about your actual questions, but thought I would put my two sense in.
