TTC after Tubal? How do you cope with the fear?

Hi!

I was diagnosed in mid-May with a Tubal pregnancy(they thought it was a m/c at first). After 2 shots of Methotrexate 3 weeks ago , my hcg levels finally went back to zero this week. We are definetly planning on waiting at least 3 cycles before we try again.

I was wondering , from women who have had tubal's , HOW DID YOU COPE WITH YOUR NEXT PREGNANCY?I'm so afraid I'll be too afraid to try again or that I'll drive myself crazy with fear when I do get pregnant again.

We want a baby so bad , but this experience has been so awful and now every time I think about TTC again , it nearly sends me into a panic attack. How do you get over the fear that it will happen again?

  1. Well you have to tell yourself you can't have a healthy baby if you don't try.  All of us that have had a loss know just how stressful it is the next go round and until you see your bean implanted and growing in the right place...you really can't help but to worry.

I lost a pregnancy - then carried the next to term and was paranoid throughout that something would go wrong...but he is a very healthy 2 year old now and I am so glad that fear didn't prevent me from trying again.
