TTC and having pain in my pelvic region.

Question

Been having both sharp and dull pains in my pelvic bones and crotch area since friday...started my period saturday and thought that might have been the cause of the pains but they have continued. Any suggestions as to what might be causing these pains would be greatly appriciated!!!

It could be an ovarian cyst that has ruptured. I had one of those once during my period and I thought I was going to die. It was really hard core pain.

I also had a kidney stone a few months back that was really strong pain in my pelvic region. That would sort of come and go b/c as the stone moves, that's what creates the pain.

If it gets to the point where OTC pain killers won't help, I'd strongly suggest going to the doc or ER.

This could also be endometriosis and if you've got diarrhea as well that's a possibility. The pain should subside when your period ends but I would call your OB and ask them about this. They can probably get you on a cancellation list and see you for testing. Certainly don't go much longer in pain in case this is something that needs medical attention. Good luck!
