  1. have s*x every day to have a better chance or consider in-vitro, it normally happens when you dont expect it good luck

  2. My husband and I tried for over a year after coming off of Depo shot (which i was on for 2 and a half years).  We had a son, so i had conceived before with no trouble.  My doctor had told me that it can take time after that shot and that she wanted to wait a while before getting concerned.

Finally i asked her what was happening, she diagnosed me with Poly cystic ovaries.  I was put on Metformin and was pregnant that first month.

Had a beautiful baby girl 8 weeks ago.

Stay positive, talk with your doctor to discuss if medication would benefit you.

    Best of luck :)

  3. I know exactly how you feel. My husband and I have been TTC for 3 years with no luck yet. Have you been to your DR to see if you have any hormonal in-balance or if there is a blockage in your tubes etc? If not make one and go and see. Start ruling things out. Also have your partner get his sperm count checked. Do you use OPK's ( Ovulation Predictor Kits)? These help determine when you ovulate and your best day to conceive. Also do you take your BBT ( Basal Body Temperature)? This is taken with a special thermoniter first thing before you even get out of bed. You can get the tthermometerat any ddrugstore like Rite Aid etc or oon line Charting can also help determine ovulation. Last but not least stop stressing. Thats the worse thing you can possibly do. I know its easier said then done. God will bless you with a baby when the time is right. Good luck hun and I hope you get your BFP soon!

  4. dont give up! my sister has been TTC for over a year now so i know your frustration.....seek a fertility doctor for best advice....my sister was on clomid but it gave her ovarian cysts so now shes trying a series of shots to stimulate egg release.

    good luck!

  5. what is your age and are you having s*x around ovulation?

    Check it out!

  6. In a sense, do "give up".  That is when pregnancy usually happens.  By trying so hard, you and your partner are under stress.  That also means that the sperm and ovaries are under stress too.  Good luck.

  7. It took me two years to conceive my first, and there was nothing wrong with me except for high stress levels. Stress levels can mess with your ovulation- and worrying about TTC is enough to do that.

I charted my temperature using www.fertilityfriend.com to find out when I was ovulating. You have to be having s*x at ovulation time to get pregnant. Also, you should only have s*x every two to three days around that time. If you do it every day, you deplete his little guys and they don't have a chance to get back to full strength.

My doctor also advised me to try relaxation exercises- meditation, deep breathing, massage- and I think they really helped. I also started eating more fruit and vegetables and less fat/ sugar, and joined a gym. Oh, and I booked the holiday of a lifetime to Italy and Turkey, and almost immediately got pregnant and had to cancel the whole thing :P I don't recommend that approach. LOL.

You don't say how long you've been trying for. It takes a normal healthy couple an average of 12 months to get pregnant anyway. Stop stressing about it; see your doctor if you really think there's a problem. Otherwise just follow some of the steps above and try to have fun.
