TUBING, RAFTING, CANOEING - What should i prepare?

any recommendations as far as where to go, if KITTATINNY is any good and what advice would you give to me - it will be my first time, I plan to go in mid August

If you're going with your family or a group of friends, you'll probably like the rafting adventure the best.  Tubing is somewhat more solitary, you pretty much let the river's current drift you along while you enjoy the scenery. Canoeing is ok, but if it's your first time you'll probably find yourself concentrating more on your paddling than actually being able to enjoy the sights.

A call to the outfitters will tell you what gear they supply, and what you'll be expected to bring.
