TV CONVERTER BOX necessary for this application?

I have a television on which I have an add-on DVD player, and I only use it to watch DVD's. Since I have to have a converter box for my other television, do I have to buy one for THIS one, too, or will I still be able to play just DVD's.

the only thing the converter box is for....is to be able to watch tv with an antenna(i hope this is the converter youre talking about)...your tv will still play dvd.....

PS: if you have cable you dont need a converter to watch tv

you will still be able to play dvds but if you want to watch regular tv you need a converter box
