TV/DVD help??

I have a rrly old tv but a new samsung p231 dvd player and i have brighthouse but i cant seem to switch over to the dvd screen all the plug are in correctly and it has been done b4 just forgot how to do it!

    get a friend to help u or look it up on the internet
