Did you know that you do NOT have to go out and BUY a NEW TV before feb??? IF You have CABLE then you have NOTHING to worry about... You do NOT have to go out and buy anything if you have cable. IF you have an OLD tv that has rabbit ears you will either need to do one of the following: get cable, buy a new tv for digital, OR get that converter box they are pushing. they just wanted to scare everyone into going out and buying the new tv with their "tax rebate" checks.. they are not pushing it as hard now... but its pretty bad when our govt is dictating HOW we watch our tv and now what LIGHTBULBS we HAVE to use... dont know about anyone else but im stock piling up on the old fashioned ones... the new cfl's give me migraines... (already have chronic migraines but they got much worse when I put those stupid bulbs in)...

  1. "..but its pretty bad when our govt is dictating HOW we watch our tv "

You have gotten FREE analog television signals since the late 1940s. This has not changed in about seventy years. I think we are way overdue for an upgrade.

  2. Yes.

Did you know that a digital TV uses 10% more power than a similar spec non-digital TV?

Not really a green idea, is it?
