  1. Well I regard the fee as a tax.

    Like most taxes value for money is not so relevant.

    As to content of TV these days I simply shudder.


  2. Definitely not and every year it keeps going up!

  3. No! No there are only ever a few programes I watch on the BBC and in total thats about 3hrs per week for £20 per month. They waste money on ridiculous channels and programes, and too top it all off, if we was watching it online abroad we can watch it for free.

Depends if you like programmes about people buying houses; having driving lessons; D list celebrities cooking; sports quizzes; police chasing cars I could go on all week.  Seriously -  if you just want mind-numbingly tedious budget reality shows - then you're onto a winner.  If not - then the one or two programmes I watch (probably 2-3 hours a week)  should make my licence fee  no more than 20 quid!
